This Privacy Policy explains how Teleporto Technologies LTD (“Teleporto”, “birlay”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit birlay.com, use the birlay web application, or otherwise interact with our services (together, the “Service”). It also describes the rights you have over your personal data and how to exercise them.

1. Who we are

Teleporto Technologies LTD is the controller responsible for the personal data processed through birlay. birlay is a business-to-business platform that connects recruitment partners, educational institutions and the students or candidates they support. Where a partner or institution uses birlay to manage their own contacts and applicants, that organisation is the controller of the data it uploads, and birlay processes that data on its behalf as a processor.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account and profile data — your name, work email address, telephone number, employer or institution, role, and the credentials you use to sign in.
• Applicant and student data — information that partners and institutions submit to the platform about the students or candidates they represent, such as names, contact details, education and work history, documents and application status. This data is provided by our business customers, who are responsible for having a lawful basis to share it.
• Content you provide — messages, applications, uploaded files, form responses and any other content you submit through the Service.
• Usage data — information collected automatically when you use the Service, such as your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, referring pages, and the date, time and duration of your visit.

If you choose to sign in through a third-party service (for example Google), we receive the basic profile information that you authorise that service to share with us.

birlay is a professional, business-to-business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

The Service may contain links to websites that we do not operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their own privacy policies.
